Made of TEFLON Coated Aluminum Alloy, these durable cleats are interchangeable and can be easily removed to sharpen or replace.
The Basic Cleat is a good choice for most surfaces from ice to hard packed snow.
The Standard Cleat is the same as the Basic, but it has a Teflon coating to help prevent snow and ice from sticking.
The Deep Cleat is great for deep snow or dry powder conditions. It it longer than the Standard Cleat and has longer "fangs" for better grip. It also has the Teflon coating to keep wet snow from sticking.
The Ice Cleats are great for hard, rocky and ice covered terrain. Made from Stainless Steel, they are heavier than the aluminum cleats but can withstand more extreme use and will last longer.
TIP: Lighter weight users (under 150 lbs) generally prefer a Deep Cleat even on groomed trails. It provides better traction.
NOTE: The Teflon coating doesn't scratch off. It is impregnated into the metal.
